1. Don’t Overcharge
Unplug the charger once it reaches 100%. Avoid leaving it plugged in overnight, especially in summer when it can overheat.
2. Don’t Let the Battery Run Completely Dry
Charge the battery as soon as the level drops below 20%. Letting it drain completely before recharging will shorten its lifespan.
3. Choose the Right Environment
Do not leave the battery outdoors in sub-freezing temperatures, nor expose it to direct sunlight. Extreme temperatures can severely damage the battery.
4. Stick to the Original Charger
Use the original charger whenever possible; third-party fast chargers can easily damage the battery.
5. Disconnect Power During Long-Term Storage
When storing the device, charge it to about 50% and recharge it once every month.
